Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is an actor also inventor and businessperson. Following her start in her home country, she eventually moved to Hollywood and has found significant success at the top of her game. George is from the city of Perth native who became interested initially in roller skating and dancing. The modeling career of her began in her early twenties, when she won the Western Australia Teenage Model Award in 1992. In a show from the Seven Network's Home and Away, she made her debut on screen the next year. She had her big-screen debut in the crime thriller Dark City and essayed various support roles in films such as Alias The Limey and Down with Love prior to appearing for the first time as the female lead in a mainstream Hollywood project, in the remake in 2005 of The Amityville Horror. She is currently one of Hollywood's most sought after Australian ex-pats. As an entrepreneur George has brought her personal innovation Style Snaps into the market.
